Tesseract Dance Collective wants performers to understand the intention of the location and provide

awareness to the environment. Craft Local is an exclusive venue that facilitates local artist to meld

together. The walls are covered in local artwork. The vibe is very underground and urban: a hip blend of

art gallery and bar. By extension, the dancing space is unconventional as far as the performance space is

considered. Performers will be level, up-close and personal with the audience. Your audience will

surround you on 3/4 sides, choreograph your performance with the ability to cater to audiences on the

sides and in front of you. The space is small – but very workable. There will be professional white lighting and colored uplights behind you along the wall.

1. Meet all deadlines for submitting information and music.

2. Notify the event producers if there will be a change in the information provided when your

performance was juried. We need accurate information to produce a professional show.

3. Participate in the dancer meeting with the stage manager (Desta Fix) the evening of the show.

5. By agreeing to dance at the Bootlegger’s Ball as part of the Sapphire Belly Dance Festival®, you and

your troupe also agree that we can use your photo and video in our future promotional work including,

but not limited to, ads, postcards, videos, etc.

6. You and your troupe agree to sign a waiver of liability upon arrival at the Bootlegger’s Ball as part of

the Sapphire Belly Dance Festival. ®
